BAKU (July 10) – Hiroyuki Shimizu and Taichi Oka each posted wins on the last day of this year’s FILA Golden Grand Prix Final, but could advance no further in wrestling’s biggest prize money event.

Oka, meanwhile, defeated Elmaddin Abdullayev (AZE) 2-1 in the first round, but fell 0-2 to last year’s runner-up in the world university championships Ahmet Yildirim (TUR) in the second.
